EarthHour in Malaysia

28th of March 2009, the day where Malaysia officially participated in EarthHour. Malaysia boleh!!! All I could see is KL Tower and Petronas Twin Tower's lights going off for the whole KL area.

Well of course an event with such importance, Mamak Session would not want to miss this opportunity to organise something. All thanks to Reuben's brilliant idea, we decided to go Ampang Lookout Point again. We kind of expecting a crowd there, the only thing we did not expect is, how massive the crowd would be.

Before that, lets go back from the start of the day. I woke up kind of late, ate breakfast and stoned until afternoon for the whole day. After fetching Vincent, we went to Samad to meet up with the rest after the rain stops. After much delaying and dinner at Ganesh, we started our journey around 7.20pm. Because only Alia knows the exact way, the other two drivers(Jia Yun/Chii Xiang) had to follow closely to Jian Shen's car. After several stop-bys and wrong direction made by Chii Xiang, we finally reached our destination. But....

I really shocked to see the amount of people present in this particular place. We were expecting a crowd but not this!! Its a freaking commotion up this place!! The roads were jammed like hell!! The amount of cars were astonishing!!!

Eventually we went passed the Lookout Point archway then moved down the hill because all the cars were parked all the way from the initial side of the road to the other end of the hill. Until we reached the end point where there are no more cars, we settled down there. We then proceed to move on to a clear ground to get a better view of KL.

The best night scene I got

Watching Petronas Twin Towers shutting off the lights part by part was awesome. I even recorded a video of it. Sorry for the bad quality and the sudden cover up when the lights were going off.

We then decided to move further down to find a better spot by walking. Phew~ Walking instead of driving.... Semangat betul!!! EarthHour FTW!!! WengWai is Hansem!!!


End up in a crowded corner after several minutes of walking down.. Nice spot but seriously crowded. Still we stayed there until 9.30pm where the lights came back. Cheered for a little bit then hiked back uphill after the commotion settled down.


Chii Xiang, Jessica and Chan Wai went back where the rest of us went Williams, Taman Mayang for SAXXXXXX... Haha Jia Yun's famous quote... I do not know what it supposed to mean but its funny..

We stayed there until 1.30am, chatting about all the random stuffs about our high school past experiences. Had a great laugh while enjoying the good food. We then went off in seperate ways as it was late enough already.

This is quite a memorable night for me. It is always enjoyable to hang out like this. And one more thing, I feel that this EarthHour thing does not work in Malaysia, but AT LEAST the landmarks showed something... Haha!! I can remember the way to this place already! Yahoo!!!! Next time can bring girlfriend to this place XD!!! Come on, first come first serve!!!

Just another good day

Today marks the day where all my midterm tests for Semester 3 has finally over. Glad Edward could help me out for my Webpage practical assessment.*high 5* As for management studies, kind of screwed up a question at the last minute because misinterpreted it wrongly. But overall its still good enough for me. Thank god I finished revising in time too because I overslept, ending up going to Starbucks in JayaOne for breakfast and study there.Anyway what a sigh of relief after finishing my tests. But more bullshitting assigments have to be done as datelines are closer than the distance of my ass particles to the chair I am sitting. Sorry for the random description. It is 2am in the morning now, cannot blame me okay?

Came back to house around 6.30 since basketball was cancelled due to the rain. Went dinner with my mum, bought some cat food to feed the stray cat which has already became like part of the family to my dad. Then went over to the pharmacy to buy a pack of Strepsils and a box of Eyemo for someone. After going back home, I went for pool with the pool-kaki. Without the Black this time but Weng Jun and Ah Kam decided to drop by. After the game, decided to go home since so little people only.

Life lesson from a bug

UFO. Unknown Flinging Object. When I got down from my car this morning, this horrific creature came close to my face. Noticed it was floating, I thought I discovered a new species of hovering bug as there was nothing around to support it. As I observed longer, it started to rise. Under the bright sunlight, I only could see a microscopic thread attached to it. A wonderful life form of true nature. Splendid....

Moral of the story: You may look hideous,lonely, rejected by society, afraid of being eaten by predators, your path often obstructed by obstacles such as the strong wind or scorching sun and death is always near you. As long you have the thinnest of hope and determination, you will never give up, cling on strongly to the weakest string, climbing slowly..Someday you will eventually reach up to the highest point of the tree leaves and enjoy a scrumptious meal because you know you deserve it and no one shall look down upon you anymore.

Well, think again.

The Aftermath- Dragonball Premiere Screening

I give this movie a 6/10....maybe 7 la.... most of the people did not like it much because I believe that they expect more actions and chi blasting everywhere just like in the comics. It is more to the storyline development which I think is quite short, considering the movie is just about 1 hour and 15 minutes. I ain't a strong movie critic, as I still enjoy cheap movies as much as those cincai movie watchers. In fact, me myself also expect more 'omph' from this movie. Too bad the factor isn't there. The special effects was nicely done, considering how 'awesome' Goku and Master Roshi charged up their chi for Kame-Hame-Ha. Chow Yun Fatt played his role quite well and I think his English improved a lot, whether the dialogues are dubbed I do not know.

Enough about the movies. Well, this time I went to the screening with someone I just knew not long ago. Did not expect the person would layan but then still worked out fine. Nicely fetched her after dinner then proceed to One-U. When I am at the registration counter, my name wasn't in the guestlist. I am totally wtf-ed there. Luckily Robb came in and talked to me, by coincidence I think he sort of recognise me as one of the Nuffnangers and gave me the tickets. Argh!!!! I was hoping I could win something with my constipated-face KameHameHa photo but even my name was not there!!! FML!!!

Don't bother la!!!! After getting the tickets, we went to Starbucks for a drink before going in the cinema. The shocking thing is, I noticed a long queue going into the ticket checking counter. Realised there were a massive team of RELAs in there too as well. Armed with metal detectors, what else? Handphone cannot bring in lo. I thought there is some terrorist action where the cinema is in a threat situation or something. Had to let my phone to be quarantined outside the cinema. Dulan....

After finishing the movie, its only 11.15. So went back to ss2 for a quick drink and a quick chat. Berkomunikasi a bit lo... Talk talk talk until 12.30 then I fetched her back as it was very near. Me myself went back, took a bath, sitting here blogging and going to sleep.....NOW!! Haha!

Its been a long time(one month?) since I went shopping with my mom. We went to 1 Utama yesterday just to kill some time as I feeling like spending some money. Heard a lot of good comments about Sushi Zanmai from other friends, so I decided to go try it out.

Being extra hungry, I kind of ordered a feast. Well, eat more=great fortune.
While I was eating, I saw Mr.Tian(my sem1 biology lecturer) walking alone. Too far away to greet him, ow well!!

Another doctor in the making.

First of all, I would like to wish Choo Xiang, a dear friend of mine since secondary school good luck as he is going to India to pursue his Medicine. We had a farewell mamak session in PappaRich, 32 Square yesterday night. A lot of Samadians from 5A and 5B class 2007 turned up. We all had a blast when we proceeded to One Class for some pool action. As only some of them occupied two tables, some chose to sit around the table for a little chatting or some 'slurping' game. Well it is kind of ridiculous as a person loses, he or she got to lose some hair, and I mean literally hair. After the night is getting late, some proceed back home, while a bunch of late-night l4d cravers went to INC. After some serious zombie ass-kicking, we went back home.

Kudos to Streamyx technical service department. I was sleeping just now until mom woke me up because the service fella just came on a Saturday morning. Today is not supposed to be a working day but I must praise the service is getting better and better. At least I don't have to wait till Tuesday. Thank God!!

FML!!!!

First time to The Apartment

Its only the second day of my third semester and I have already feel the stress and pressure coming in fast from the upcoming assignments and tests. Within 7 weeks to complete 3 subjects with limited timeline. Indeed Universiti Tak Ada Rehat. But then I will 'try' my best to pick out some time for leisure and entertainment. Weng never work hard without playing hard first, but most of the time working hard never existed.

Today class was pretty normal and ended early compared to the rest of the weekdays. After class, I went to pick up a friend I just met not long ago for a lunch date. Quite a pleasant day as we went to the Curve as she insisted she had something to buy, but ended up in buying only one water bottle.. The Apartment's food is still fine for me, but the Portugese Fried Rice I ordered is rather too spicy for me. Overall still fine I guess.

The tomato soup is rather sour and filled with chunks of tomatoes. Sour lovers may like this serving. The so-called salad is really pathetic. Dry and tasteless.

Didn't really tried this as it was her food. But I guess its a so-so for her. Took out all the vegetables from the roll because she claims she is a veggie-hater. Haha!

I didn't expect my first visit to The Apartment would rather be dissapointing as the food is not really satisfying. Soon I will give it one more shot and order something better instead. After the meal, two of us walked around Cineleisure and Curve till 4. After sending her home, I planned to go to ss2 for basketball. As expected again, rain comes pouring and there goes my daily exercise. Well, I should have stayed at the Curve longer or maybe catch a movie instead. Well, there goes another day and another day comes again.

Congratulations to my blog on hitting 10k hits!

Finally my second semester break is over after 3 weeks. A lot of lazying around has been done and time to strive hard for my third and last semester for my foundation studies. I really enjoyed my holidays in term of going out constantly with my buddies and meeting new people. Thank God my exam results came out better than I expected. At least it is better compared to previous semester. I knew I definitely could do a lot more better if I wasn't so lazy and doing last minute studies. Well things which happened cannot be changed anymore.

In less than 12 hours, I am going to attend my first class of my third semester! Yahoo!!!
